Customer Service/Yard Operator

Customer Service/Yard Operator - Lysaght Bluescope
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, cash sales, and yard operations. You'll be the first point of contact for customers while also assisting with loading products, manual handling, and general yard duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers and process cash sales
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service
• Assist customers with loading products into their vehicles
• Load and unload trucks
• Perform manual handling and general labouring duties
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in customer service, retail sales or trade sales
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
